Your personalized tax organizer is sent via Intuit Link each January. It walks you through your income, deductions, and life changes for the year β€” and lets you upload supporting documents directly in the same flow.

Returning clients: Bookmark the link below for easy access. Log in with the email address on file with our office β€” if your to-do list is empty, you may be logged into a different email.

Once your return is prepared and reviewed, we'll send your Form 8879 (e-file authorization) and engagement letter via DocuSign. You'll receive an email β€” sign from your phone, tablet, or computer in under 2 minutes.

QuickBooks Online Business Clients

If your business uses QuickBooks Online, you can also exchange documents and respond to requests directly through the My Accountant tab inside your QBO account. We'll send document requests from our QuickBooks Online Accountant dashboard β€” you'll see them appear there automatically.

Applies to: S-Corp, LLC, and partnership clients with active QBO subscriptions.

What to Expect, Start to Finish

January β€” Tax Organizer Arrives

Returning clients receive a personal Intuit Link invitation email β€” click Accept in that email to activate your organizer for the year. New clients: we'll send your first invitation after your intake consultation. You must accept the invitation before the Log In button above will show your to-do list.

As Documents Arrive β€” Upload Them

As your W-2s, 1099s, and other documents arrive in the mail or email, upload them through the secure Google Form above. Don't wait until you have everything β€” send them as they come in.

We Prepare Your Return

Once we have everything we need, we prepare your return. If anything is missing or unclear, we'll reach out by email or phone. Typical turnaround: 5–10 business days after receiving all documents.

Review & E-Sign

You'll receive your completed return for review along with a DocuSign request for Form 8879 (e-file authorization). Review carefully, then e-sign from any device. No printing required.

Filed & Confirmed

Once signed, we file your return electronically. You'll receive IRS confirmation of acceptance (typically within 24–48 hours). Your completed return is emailed to you as a PDF for your records.

Portal FAQ

No. The document upload form is a public Google Form β€” you do not need a Google account. You just fill in your name, email, and upload your files. For the Intuit Link organizer, a free Intuit account is required (most people already have one from TurboTax or other Intuit products).
PDF, JPG, PNG, and Excel files are all accepted. For best results, scan documents as PDF using your phone's camera app (both iOS and Android can scan to PDF natively). You can also photograph W-2s and 1099s with your phone β€” a clear, well-lit photo is fine.
DocuSign requests from us will always come from an @docusign.com sender address on behalf of rmcvey@badgerfoxtax.com. If you're ever unsure, call us at (920) 213-5979 before clicking anything. Never sign a DocuSign document you weren't expecting.
No β€” upload what you have as it arrives. W-2s, 1099s, and other forms arrive at different times through January and February. You can submit the form multiple times. Just note in the "Notes" field what you're sending each time and whether more is coming.
Typical turnaround is 5–10 business days after we've received all your documents and your completed organizer. During peak season (mid-February through April 10), turnaround may be slightly longer. We'll let you know if we anticipate a delay.
Start by scheduling a free consultation. After that, we'll send you a personal Intuit Link invitation email β€” click Accept in that email before trying to log in. Once activated, you can log back in anytime at link.intuit.com using that same email address. Nothing to set up beforehand.
This almost always means one of two things: (1) you're logged in with a different email address than the one we sent your invitation to β€” try signing out and logging back in with your other email, or (2) you haven't yet clicked Accept in the original invitation email we sent. Check your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from rmcvey@badgerfoxtax.com or from Intuit Link. Still stuck? Call us at (920) 213-5979.
